Customer Service -- Call Center Architected, designed, and managed implementation of the primary tool for use by customer service in AT&T/TCI's @HOME call center. The system united billing, customer interaction tracking, service provisioning, and trouble shooting applications within a single Web based user interface. Middleware layer performed transaction management with local ORACLE database and remote, legacy billing system and provisioning applications.

Project Leader
Directory Composition and Pagination Developed automated directory (yellow and white pages) pagination system. The system was used throughout ITT World Directories' operating units, producing a wide range of layout styles.
The system incorporated a Scheme-based extension language and an SGML parser, included a GUI process flow management tool for users to operate the pagination system along with any pre- or post- processing activities. Managed successful installations of the product in Holland, Norway, South Africa, and Portugal.

Typesetting Systems Moved graphics production systems based on mainframe and proprietary typesetters to networked PC, Macintosh, and UNIX computers and desktop publishing software.
Display Ad Production Selected, installed and maintained computer systems (hardware, software, network) for display ad production service. Designed and implemented production tracking and workflow management system for the facility.
Database Publishing Created and maintained a generalized, parameter driven system for composing and paginating database extracts and SGML tagged text. The system was used to produce a variety of catalogs and directories and served as the primary revenue generator for the division.
Legal Publishing Created batch software for composing camera ready copy for law books with complex pagination requirements including loose-leaf inserts, tables, forms, illustrations, and multi-column and multi-page footnotes.
