Audiences love over-the-top, in-your-face reality television. And if that reality is framed by the Las Vegas skyline, all the better. Starring government employees, small-business owners, crooks, cops and celebrities (or celebrities in waiting), here are the reality TV shows based in the entertainment capital of the world:
 

Goodman set for role as TV judge

Oscar Goodman might well become the Elvis of judges.The former Las Vegas mayor and, before that, the brusque and stylish "mob attorney," is filming the pilot of his staged courtroom show at Las Vegas Hilton Theater on Nov. 18. The working title of the show is "Las Vegas Night Court With Oscar Goodman," and the stage ? at least for the pilot ? is where Elvis Presley performed for 837 consecutive sold-out shows from 1969-1976.
