The Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), which works to combat anti-gay behavior and bias in schools, recruited members of the ABC comedy hit to help pitch its Safe Space Campaign, which aims to place a GLSEN Safe Space Kit in every middle and high school in the country. In the video released Wednesday, Ferguson, who is openly gay, says he was bullied so badly as a teen that he was forced to move to another school.
