Behind her smash Timbaland-produced single, “Promiscuous,” Nelly Furtado’s, Loose LP has grabbed the No. 1 spot on The Billboard 200 chart. The top ranking is the first time in Furtado’s career that she hit No. 1 on Billboard’s big chart.

Furtado's impressive outing held off Busta's album surge. After entering The Billboard 200 at No. 1 last week, Busta Rhymes', The Big Bang fell to No. 5. Busta sold 69,000 copies of The Big Bang for a 67 percent sales decline this week.

Meanwhile, Field Mob’s Light Poles and Pine Trees LP and Gnarls Barkley’s St. Elsewhere also crept into the top 10.

Meanwhile, R&B; soul singer Donell Jones earned the No. 1 spot on the Top R&B;/Hip-Hop albums chart with his Journey of a Gemini LP, which sold 49,000 copies.

Journey of a Gemini is Jones' first studio album in four years.
