OUTKAST star ANDRE 3000 is running to become a TV mayor of Los Angeles.
The singer/songwriter will test his acting skills when he campaigns for public office in the upcoming season of hit U.S. drama The Shield.
It won't be his debut on the gritty show - he portrayed a comic book store owner in 2004 episodes.
