British royal PRINCE WILLIAM graduated as a military pilot on Friday (11Apr08).

The 25-year-old's father Prince Charles, who is the U.K.'s Air Chief Marshall, presented his son and 32 other Royal Air Force graduates with their 'wings' during a 45-minute ceremony at RAF Cranwell in Lincolnshire, England.

Charles earned his wings at the same flying school in 1971.

William's girlfriend Kate Middleton and stepmother Camilla, Duchess Of Cornwall watched him graduate.

The heir-to-the-throne, who began his pilot training in January (08), will now be known in the RAF as Flying Officer Wales.
