"The Desert Blooms" is the theme of the Palm Springs Desert Resorts Convention and Visitors Authority's (CVA) 2007 Annual Membership Luncheon.
The event will be held Friday, February 23, 2007, at Desert Springs, A JW Marriott Resort & Spa in The Springs Ballroom located at 74-855 Country Club Drive, Palm Desert.
During the luncheon, the Desert's 2006 Hospitality Award Winners will be announced for Outstanding Small Hotel General Manager (Properties 200 rooms or less); Outstanding Large Hotel General Manager (Properties 201 rooms or more); Outstanding Salesperson; Outstanding Hospitality Business/Attraction Professional; Outstanding Restaurateur; and Outstanding Front Line Person.
A one-hour Travel Industry Mini-Tradeshow, hosted by national tourism organizations, will precede the luncheon, beginning at 11:00 a.m. along with a no-host bar reception. The luncheon will follow at Noon.
The public is invited to attend. Cost is $50 for CVA Members, $75 for Non-Members. Group tables of eight (8) are $350. For reservations, call (760) 969-1326 or email rsvp@palmspringsusa.com.

The Palm Springs Desert Resorts Convention and Visitors Authority is a Joint Powers Authority that serves as a coordinating agency for sales, marketing and promotional efforts aimed at potential tourism, corporate, incentive and convention group markets.
The CVA is dedicated to a program of work to benefit and promote the hospitality industry in the member cities in Riverside County, which include Cathedral City, Desert Hot Springs, Indian Wells, Indio, La Quinta, Palm Desert, Palm Springs, and Rancho Mirage.
