The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) has announced a new online test center locator in time for the opening of summer CBT registration. It's now up and running at www.ase.com/testcenters. ASE has also developed TechQuiz, a new series of four online self-assessment quizzes to help individuals evaluate their automotive technical knowledge and help them prepare for the ASE certification tests. Each quiz is designed to measure technical knowledge at three levels-Fundamentals, Maintenance and Diagnosis and Repair. There are four different quizzes: Gasoline Engines, Drive Trains, Undercar and Electrical/Electronic Systems & HVAC. They're available through the ASE Campus online at www.asecampus.com.

Online registration and housing for the 2006 Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) is now open at www.AAPEXShow.com. Online registration is $15 per person if completed before Oct. 13, a 70% savings off the $50 on-site registration fee.
