* Age: 37
* Do you have ideas to attract and keep the youth in the Syracuse area? Syracuse will need to promote what it currently has to offer young professionals-some trendy downtown areas, SU sports, great parks; however, it will need to set itself apart from other cities and create a specialization, a bustling scene, arts, music recording, nightlife-flavor that will draw young professionals to want to live in our city.
* Where do you see the community and yourself in the next 10 years? After meeting Mary Nelson this year through CNYSPaRC, I hope that my community and I are working on projects that promote education and other initiatives to make our city a safe place to live.
* Who has been the most influential person in your career? I have two. My children. Each career decision I have made is based upon how it will affect their life.
* What is your best career decision? To get an education, and to continue to learn.
* How is your life different than imagined? Other than I thought I could sing in public by now, I believe my life is as I imagined. I am healthy, have a progressing career, a great family, and a lot of friends. I am very blessed.
* What is your motto? Realism leads to a plan.
* What are the core values that have been essential to your success? Be yourself and you will find your optimal place.
