Renee M. LANE

MARKETING MANAGER

C&S Companies

* What has been your greatest inspiration? My mother died of cancer when she was in her early 40s and I was in my teens. She was an amazing woman. She has been and will be my inspiration forever.

* What is your advice to other women who want to succeed? Be yourself, be open to change and new ideas, face your fears of failure - and, no matter what - never, never, never give up.

* How is your life different today from how you imagined it would be when you were younger? It is nothing like I thought it would be. Life is so crazy and much more fast-paced than it was when I was younger. I would have never imagined it to be so hectic and chaotic at times. I thought I would be home with four kids by now - not quite. Do horses and dogs count? Who knew?

* What core values do you have that have been essential to your success? Humility, work ethic, honesty, passion, kindness

* What was your best career decision? To ask forgiveness - not permission.

* What was your first childhood job? Dog sitter - I still love doing it.

* If a movie were made about your life, what would it be called and what actress would you select to play you? "A Good Friend and a Glass of Wine," starring Renee Zellweger.
