* Do you have ideas to attract and keep youth in the Syracuse area? The Syracuse area has the opportunity to present itself both as a place for success in business and as a place with an exciting, contemporary lifestyle.

* Where do you see the community and yourself in the next 10 years? Syracuse has the opportunity to focus on the development of new technologies and green products and could be the place that others in the country look to as a model for the way we eat, work, and live in an interdependent world. I hope to be a part of this.

* Who has been the most influential person in your career? My wife, Anastasia, has played a critical role in all of my career decisions. I also have benefited from the wisdom and guidance of my more senior colleagues at BSK.

* What are your guiding principles in life? Work hard, maintain the highest ethical standards, be curious about the world around, and show good grace toward others

* What has been your best career decision? My best career decision has been not to focus too hard on my next career decision.

* What is one of your quirks? I am constantly making lists. I am never without a list of things to remember or do.

* What are the core values that have been essential to your success? Loyalty, self-reliance, and support for those in greater need. I believe in personal accountability and managing one's life in a manner that will withstand external challenges.
