A teenager was shot by Detroit police after a member of an advance crew for a film titled "Little Murder" was robbed at gunpoint.
Police spokesman John Roach said the crew was at a west side site about 2:30 p.m. Friday when two armed teens robbed the worker of his wallet and cell phone.
Police chased and shot a suspect in the shoulder when he pointed a shotgun at an officer. His condition is not believed to be critical.
A second suspect was caught a short time later. The stolen items were recovered.
Michigan and Detroit have been prime filming locations after state tax incentives went into effect last year. The refundable movie tax credit of up to 42 percent on production expenses is the nation's most lucrative.
