The body of fallen firefighter Capt. Tedmund Hall is being escorted through Los Angeles to a mortuary in Victorville.
Hall's body was driven through the command center Friday in a white hearse while hundreds of firefighters saluted by the roadside.
Hall and Specialist Arnaldo Quinones were killed Sunday when their fire truck fell off a mountainside while trying to escape flames that had overrun their camp.
Quinones' body was transferred Thursday to a mortuary in Lancaster. Los Angeles County fire Capt. Roland Sprewell says both bodies will be held in the mortuaries until a memorial is held Sept. 12 in Dodger Stadium.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A fire captain says one of two firefighters killed in the blaze north of Los Angeles had recently declined a transfer so he could stay close to his pregnant wife.
Specialist Arnaldo Quinones was killed Sunday when his fire truck fell off a mountainside while trying to escape flames that had overrun his camp.
Los Angeles County fire Capt. Glenn Goulet said Friday Quinones was asked a few days before his death to take another assignment.
Goulet did not say exactly when the assignment was offered or give its location. Fire Capt. Mark Whaling says it could have been to any of the fires burning throughout California.
Goulet says Quinones and Capt. Tedmund Hall conducted a backfiring operation that created a safe area for the 60-inmate crew they oversaw. Both firefighters died while seeking an escape route.
