A123 Systems Inc.- Watertown, Mass., 25.7 million shares, priced $8 to $9.50, mananged by Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs. Proposed Nasdaq symbol AONE. Business: Provides rechargeable lithium-ion batteries and battery systems.

Apollo Commercial Real Estate Finance Inc.- New York, 20 million shares, priced at $20 each, managed by J.P. Morgan, Citigroup, and Barclays. Proposed NYSE symbol ARI. Business: An Apollo Global Management-backed REIT planning to invest in commercial real estate securities and corporate debt.

Artio Global Investors Inc.- New York, 23.4 million shares, priced $24 to $26, managed by Goldman Sachs. Proposed NYSE symbol ART. Business: An asset management company that provides investment management services to institutional and mutual fund clients

Foursquare Capital Corp.- New York, 25 million shares, priced at $20 each, managed by BofA Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley. Proposed NYSE symbol FSQR. Business: Plans to invest in commercial/residential MBS, mortgage loans and asset backed securities.

Colony Financial Inc.- Los Angeles, 25 million shares, priced at $20 each, managed by BofA Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and UBS. Proposed NYSE symbol CLNY. Business: Newly-formed REIT planning to invest in commercial mortgages and real estate debt.

Select Medical Holdings Corp.- Mechanicsburg, Pa., 33.3 million shares, priced $11 to $13, managed by Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, BofA Merrill Lynch, and JPMorgan. Proposed NYSE symbol SEM. Business: One of the largest operators of both specialty hospitals and outpatient rehabilitation clinics in the United States based on number of facilities.

Shanda Games Ltd.- Shanghai, China, 63 million American depositary shares, each representing two class A ordinary shares, priced $11 to $13, managed by Goldman Sachs Asia LLC and JPMorgan. Proposed Nasdaq symbol GAME. Business: Shanda Interactive subsidiary which operates and licenses online role-playing and casual games.

Vitacost.com Inc.- Boca Raton, Fla., 11 million shares, priced $11 to $13, managed by Jefferies and Oppenheimer. Proposed Nasdaq symbol VITC. Business: Online retailer of nutritional supplements and health and wellness products.
