U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is announcing an agreement to end the presidential crisis in Honduras.
Clinton told reporters Friday that ousted Honduran President Manuel Zelaya and defacto Honduran leader Roberto Micheletti have both signed the deal.
She says Nov. 29 elections for a new leader will go forward and the U.S. will work with Honduras to ensure the election is legitimate.
She called the outcome, after months of political paralysis, a big step forward for Latin America.
