Budget airline easyJet on Monday announced the launch of its first UK-Brussels route, flying to the Belgian capital from Liverpool.
The six-times-weekly route had been launched "as part of easyJet's ongoing commitment to enhancing its offer for business travellers," the British airline said in a statement.
A spokesman added that Liverpool had been chosen as easyJet expects "to see greater demand from there" compared to its other bases in Britain, including Luton airport, north of London.
