Lady Antebellum wins record of the year Grammy

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Country trio Lady Antebellum won the Grammy for record of the year on Sunday, bringing their total to five.

The group was honored for "Need You Now," a tune that earlier was named song of the year. Record of the year honors the artist, while song of the year is a songwriter's award.

The other contenders were "Nothin' on You," by B.o.B, featuring Bruno Mars; "Love the Way You Lie," by Eminem, featuring Rihanna; "F*** You!," by Cee Lo; and "Empire State of Mind," by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys;

The 53rd annual Grammy Awards were presented in Los Angeles.
