Attacker Loses Hand in Milan Bomb Blast
Oct 12, 2009 - Milan, Italy - An attack on an army barracks in the northern Italian city of Milan has left two people injured, including the assailant himself. The man identified as a Libyan in his thirties, lost one of his hands after throwing an explosive device on the Santa Barbara garrison near the San-Siro soccer stadium early on Monday, it was reported. The motive behind the attack remains unknown. An Italian soldier was also slightly hurt by glass shards after the blast.
