Women reach South Pole Seven woman have reached the South Pole after an epic 562 mile, 38-day trek across Antarctica. The mission was to mark the 60th anniversary of the Commonwealth, and was dubbed the Commonwealth Woman's Antarctic Expedition (CWAE).
