An image grab taken from a YouTube video shows armed men, said to be members of the Free Syrian Army (FSA), standing guard during an anti-regime protest in the central town of Rastan in the Homs province. Syria's opposition called for a "day of mourning and anger" after almost 100 people, most of them civilians, reportedly died in spiralling violence ahead of a UN Security Council showdown.
