France's president-elect Francois Hollande (C) arrives to take part in a ceremony marking the 67th anniversary of the Allied victory over Nazi Germany in World War II, in Paris. Hollande formally takes office on May 15 and shortly thereafter travels to Germany for his meeting with Merkel.
