UN observers drive past destroyed houses as they arrive to inspect the Bayyada district of the flashpoint Syrian city of Homs. A roadside bomb has wounded six Syrian soldiers as they escorted a convoy of UN peace observers, including the general who heads the mission, in the southern town of Daraa, an AFP photographer said.
