Bolivian President Evo Morales says his policies aim to "give back Bolivians their dignity"
Bolivian President Evo Morales, pictured here in February 2012, who has been in power since 2006, said he hoped his leftwing, nationalist policies would stay in place for "more than 500 years." Hoping to win a third term in 2014 presidential elections, Morales said he did not wish to remain in power forever but that his policies aimed to "give back Bolivians their dignity."
