The Palestinian flag flutters in front of the Church of the Nativity, the traditional birthplace of Jesus Christ, in the biblical West Bank town of Bethlehem. The Palestinians hailed Friday's granting by UNESCO of world heritage status to the Church of the Nativity in the West Bank city of Bethlehem as an "historic day for justice."
